I've got a test on Wednesday. Hoho. A Maths test. I'm not entirely sure if I need to study. I'm going to do a sample test right after I'm done with this post. Expect a few days hiatus as I study. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
A Slightly Eventful Weekend
As you might have noticed, there was a sudden break in my daily posting pattern. For some reason or another, I was pretty busy the past few days. On Friday, I went to college and came back. I then proceeded to forget about the blog until later, when I decided to invite u238 over to help me with my Maths and sort out Magic cards. We played a few video games before getting down to work.
On Saturday, I woke up late, went out for lunch with Shockrave, tutored Shockrave briefly on how to play Magic, then played a few rounds to get to grips with the game. Later, we went out for dinner with u238 and luijin. We then proceeded to have long bouts of videogames including my housemate in the process.
My housemate couldn't play for long since he had work and of course, other engagements in the night. We eventually proceeded to tutoring luijin in the art of playing Magic, and shortly after, we played a huge, drawn-out 4 player melee. This was followed by an even longer drawn out melee. By the time we ended and I showered and everything, it was well into the night, and minutes to midnight. I decided to put off blogging.
Today, I finished off whatever homework I had, completed my tutorial sheet for the week. Then, I went out for lunch with Shockrave again, following that, a visit to Dungeon of Magic to grab a few more cards, then rested for a while. During this rest period, I built two more decks, tested them later when Shockrave came over to help cook pasta for dinner.
Then, after dinner, I went up to the tenth floor for the floor party and stayed there until about 10pm when it ended. And after some deliberation over whether I should save the assignment for later or do some of it now, I decided on doing some of it now. Hah.
And then, that brings us to the time that is now.

My First Assignment from UniMelb!
I finally got my first assignment of the year! Yahoo! I shall record this commemorative event with another photo post! :D

You probably haven't seen someone quite as excited about an assignment, but you're reading the blog of someone who hasn't seen an assignment for about 6 months. 6 MONTHS. I haven't seen an assignment for SIX BLOODY MONTHS. Don't come telling me I should be happy I haven't seen an assignment for that long, especially since my boredom level increased considerably since I got here.
I was quite excited about getting this assignment. That's not because it would be the first assignment since I came here. That just happened to be convenient. Nobody should like assignments. It's unhealthy to like assignments. If you happen to love assignments, you should go stand in the corner with all the other hypernerds like you. :D
I wanted to get an assignment because I was bored. However, I have come into an additional problem, since the assignment looks short. As in, 'I need a few hours to finish it' kind of short. It falls far from my definition of an assignment: "Time and blood sucking leech you need to put on your brain so that you can get marks."
And by the way, some of you might want this, and some of you might prefer not knowing, but I decided I would make a geek code block for fun. Do note, some of the stuff in the geek block are approximations based on the code since I occasionally neither here nor there (and some stuff I made up so you will never know how geeky or otherwise I really am - and yes, vi rocks.). :D

Stapler and Staples Part One
(You might notice this is in a new category that suddenly appeared yesterday. :D) Thanks to Shockrave (no link because he apparently has no blog) for the inspiration, I decided it would be interesting if I picked an item of interest and made fun of it. I should think that I would use this item of interest until it becomes a lot less interesting. As you would've guessed by now, I will begin my Funny Stuff category with a stapler.
What could be so funny about a stapler? Some people already know. In fact, most of you should know. In case some of you don't know what a stapler looks like or what it does, I will give you a brief introduction.
Here's a stapler:

A stapler is generally used for stapling things together. Things that are held together by staples are considered staplers. Some of you might have never used a stapler without paper, but you see, a stapler is like a barracks. :D
For one, it can produce soldiers like these:

It makes the process a lot easier but separating staples for you. This might be so if you are intent of trying to do this:

Since I am in a rather mischievous mood today, I shall put this on a chair in the shared area of the apartment.

The lighting in Arrow is quite helpful at concealing something like a staple ant. With the flash, you can see the tiny ant quite well.

It's another story when we just use whatever light Arrow provides us.

After using the stapler, be sure to open it and reload it.
I will cover this event later when I feel a little more humorous.
In the meantime, feel free to use the tiled photos of staplers below as your wallpaper. :D

I'd say this attempt wasn't so good, but what do you expect? Part 2 will probably be slightly more amusing. Slightly. :D
