I'm a not-so-average person that is currently studying for the actuarial professional exams. I am currently back in Malaysia after my studies in Australia,
As you can tell from my blog posts, my thought process is relatively random – I'm sure there's an observable pattern centering about my life and my studies (my two main fields of interest).
A few known facts about me:
I am a computer geek. I know PHP, Visual Basic, Visual C#, C, Python, Lua, C++, HTML, XML, CSS and Flash.
I am also a math geek. I know small amounts of R, VBA for Excel, MATLAB, Maple, Mathematica and of course, plenty of statistical math to match.
I'm a fan of Macs. However, I'm no Apple fanboy since I think iPods have subpar sound quality, iPhones are horrible (and while I was tempted to get a 3G – I am tempted no more – due to the epic phail of the chipset) and the MacBook keyboard sucks (the pro one is fine – and yes, I don't like the new thin ones either).
I have plenty of digital gadgets, to say the least, I own a PSP, an NW-A1000 music player as well as a HTC Hermes. (note how the DS misses this list).
