Twitter Weekly Updates for 2010-05-31
by cfgt on May.31, 2010, under General
- I think I should change my blogging strategy. My schedule's too random to blog regularly. -__- #
- Totally not ready for tomorrow's exam. Unless some miracle occurs tomorrow, there's a 99% chance of me failing again. #
- CT8 was an even bigger disaster than CT6! Looks like a repeat in October is inevitable. =( #
- Apple's WWDC 2010 starts on June 7th! #
- Rain rain go away; come back another day. (Actually I'd rather it rain in about 5 hours time.) #
- @geoyws Sadly, actuarial exams are evil. =( in reply to geoyws #
- @geoyws The same place I used to live? in reply to geoyws #
- @geoyws My parent's house in Malaysia la. I'm not in Australia. in reply to geoyws #
- Weirdness. I have Left 4 Dead 2 installed on my computer – but I have no recollection of installing or playing it. -_- #
- Tweeting has become important enough for me to try new clients on my aging Windows Mobile phone. #
- The HTC Desire has undesirable protection. =(
Now I have to consider the Google Nexus One again. -_- # - Ooh. Boomer plushie. http://store.valvesoftware.com/productshowcase/productshowcase_L4D2-BoomerPlush.html #
- LRT is really full today. I wonder why? Does rain make people go home earlier? #
- Starcraft II finally being released on 27th July 2010. It's about time. =P #
- I was thinking about how Apple can't be much worse than Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo controlling applications and games on their consoles. #
- One and a half hours to type what is probably several thousand words. This is going to be an interesting afternoon. #
- Holy crap, I managed it with 10 minutes to spare. Now I can go back and enjoy my weekend happily. #
- I just realised that my Magic playing style has become very different over the past year. #
- It looks like today is meeting day. Nothing but meetings the whole day. #
- Anyone have any tips on how to play competitive Scrabble? #
- My head is filled with analysis on how to play Kargan Dragonlord properly. #
- Got a really crappy headache. Speaking of microSIMs, can someone pls bring in the iPad 3G at reasonable prices? #
- Time to catch up on a lot of TV shows. #
- All of a sudden, Pidgin works again. I wonder what was wrong the last time. #
- I'm pondering the meaning of life. While trying to get more things to work over the company network. #
- People make some really peculiar errors. So peculiar I have no idea how they came about. #
- It is time to be unproductive. System is down. =D #
- Anyone coming back from Australia in June? =P #
- I think someone is exploiting Youtube's related feature. There's this whole row of nonsense unrelated videos next to the one I'm watching. #
- Ooh, Malacca Securities is hiring on Jobstreet.com.my ROFL #
- There are some minds you never want to understand. Ever. #
- I want to do a clean install of Windows 7. There's too much junk from my upgrade. #
- I think I should build a USB flash drive filled with stuff I want to bring everywhere! #
- I can't remember when exactly, but I think Flash become unfashionable to me roughly 5 years ago. #
- When your time is limited, you really begin to learn how to choose which shows to watch. #
- The Kelana Jaya LRT was having problems this morning. It's probably the same problem as yesterday evening. #
- I think my desktop's computer's motherboard died. As a consequence, I'm back on my old trusty PowerBook. #
- I wonder if I can find a decent replacement motherboard now. All I seem to find are inferior P43 chipset boards rather than P45 ones. #
- I think my new installation of Windows needs more fonts. #
- The horror! Excel is stupidly slow when handling large arrays. #
- What's even worse is that Excels attempts to update after I type anything at all. Fortunately, I moved everything into a macro. #
- Just how slow is slow? With my macro, I can watch my formula refresh cell by cell. Time to rewrite it further. #
- The first thing you notice about Mac OS X Snow Leopard is how much louder it is than Windows 7. o_O #
- Meals, Ready to Eat (MREs) are both very interesting and awesome. The Flameless Ration Heater is interesting all by itself! #
- I thought the Rebuild of Evangelion was rewriting original canon – but it looks like it's just additional canon. #
- I'm producing reports that look quite awful out of context. If you know the whole picture, they look fantastic. #
- When you're stuck with only Excel, you realise Excel can do a whole load of things – if you know how to think within the really small box. #
- Different paradigms call for different approaches. Some paradigms require approaches that are just plain stupid though. #
